Arctic Akitas is a small home-based kennel set in 4 acres of beautiful forested area in Alaska. They raise both American and Japanese Akita Inu dogs that are physically strong and built to survive arctic conditions. The kennels are in compliance with AKC regulations and the pups all have wonderful temperaments and are perfect for families with kids. However, since there are some key considerations, such as training well into adulthood and dog-aggressiveness associated with these breeds, they recommend that you consider carefully and consult them before bringing an Akita Inu pup into your family. They also raise Pomskys.

Kimber and Nathan are native Alaskans who are huge animal lovers. They work hard to do breeding "right" and include only the highest quality dogs in their program. T.the pups are raised in their home with lots of loving care and a hands on approach for early stimulation and socialization.
