Hi, we are a small hobby breeder that breeds Golden Retrievers. I have grown up with Goldens and have always hoped to be able to breed them one day. We have a beautiful spot in the hills of Arkansas that has been the perfect place to start our breeding program. We are excited to meet each of our new puppies’ owners and are here to answer any questions you might have. I’m able to stay at home with my three girls, so I’m able to give these little puppies lots of time and love. The puppies are being raised indoors and will be socialized with my girls on a daily basis once they get big enough to start getting around good. They will also be started on potty training, as well as being familiar with a crate. If you have any special requests that you’d be interested in me starting with your puppy, don’t be afraid to ask. Whisenhunt Farms is located in Southwest Arkansas- We are a working cattle and poultry operation. Our operation also consists of working dogs! Our primary breed are Border Collies however we are also striving to breed quality companion breeds. We have recently added Pembroke Welsh Corgis to our crew of herding breed dogs. The Corgis are tested to not be at risk of DM. My teenage daughter owns a few Toy Poodles and a Single pair of Golden Retrievers. While my profile does not say we compete in AKC events - I have competed in stock dog competitions with the Border Collies. Our dogs prove themselves in real life situations. We have a small farm in NW Arkansas where we primarily raise and show American Miniature and Shetland Ponies.
