I raise my dogs in a pack. They come in or out of the house whatever they prefer using a dog door. My main focus of my dogs is to breed them for service or family dog. I have had several of my dogs become registered service dogs and some work with search and rescue. My main goal for my dogs is I feel in today's society we are wanting a more social dog with the protection at home. Even my dogs that I have trained in protection can go out in public and behave, sitting by my side politely in public. I am an AKC CGC evaluator trainer. I am getting all my younger dogs in my pack titled in CGC, CGCA, and CGCU. I have a facebook page Vintar German Shepherd that I continually share pics and videos of the pack and puppies as they grow before going to their new homes. In training we do some agility, rally and basic obedience. I have about an acre for the dog park which we hold training class weekly to help develop the dog you want.

Ken Duffy is from Arizona and breeds German Shepherd Dogs. So begins the journey of breeding our German Shepherd Dog (GSD) Winchester (aka Winnie). Winnie was carefully and laboriously sought for when we were searching for a new GSD for our family. We wanted a genetic history clear of illnesses and defects, a character that would be a strong defender of the family but still able to play with the young kids, and a build that wasn’t abnormally large (which is unhealthy for GSD’s) but strong, full and agile. These were just a few of the priorities of the longer list of requirements we had when searching. It was an added benefit when we found all these in Winnie, as well as having champion bloodlines! Breeding was on our radar at the time we were looking for her, but it was secondary to finding the perfect pup. Now that we’ve raised Winnie for the past two years, we have had plenty of discussion and time for research to finally make the decision to go forward with continuing her lineage through breeding. We feel it would be a waste to not continue the traits that are inherent in her bloodline. Speed, strength, awareness, friendliness, intelligence... just to name a few. We are not taking on breeding as a full-time profession. Winnie will be our only dam that has a few litters over the coming years.
