JANUS is a small hobby kennel with a few select dogs located in the foothills of the Whetstone mountains on 3 acres S.E. of Tucson. In 1987, we started breeding/exhibiting group winning/placing Chow Chows. In the early 90s until 2003, we bred group placing Japanese Chins. We are dedicating our retirement years exhibiting/breeding Mudis & Toy Fox Terriers. We show our dogs in both AKC & UKC conformation shows. We are interested in Dock Diving since Mudis love water. We health test all of our dogs prior to breeding & breed only to the best dogs available. If interested in a future Mudi, we can send you a puppy questionnaire for our upcoming litters. We DO NOT SHIP puppies! We sell to buyers that have the time to train a puppy and have a fenced yard for this active herding breed. All companion Mudis are sold on AKC limited registration. Show Mudis will have full registration. Our background comes from breeding & exhibiting Champion Alpacas for over 26 years in Spokane & North Idaho. I live on 15 acres of paradise in SE Arizona with my Border Collies and Mudi. I strive to breed true to type dogs with great structure and excellent temperaments. A beautiful dog that can go from the herding field to the show ring with ease. I currently compete in both herding and conformation with my dogs. All puppies are from health tested proven parents.
