My name is Angela Hamre, and I have been a Dalmatian owner since I was a 8 years old. I had two Dalmatians growing up and began showing my second AKC Dalmatian as a 12year old girl in 4H, where I fell more in love with the breed and AKC showmanship. Dalmatians are my passion and it brings me so much joy to see the breed flourish, and to find incredible homes for our new pups. All of our dogs are part of our family. I hike daily with them. Dalmatians make great family members as well as workout partners! They are a loving , loyal, and an active breed. Our Dalmatians are family raised and will go home to you healthy, socialized, and fully loved! Our Dalmatians have received their Baer Hearing tests and other CHIC recommended tests. Our Dalmatians are bred to better the breed and meet the Breed Standard of AKC. Our puppies would be great candidates for show, but I'm just happy to provide them with a home that will love and care for them like we do ours! Dalmatian

As breeders of high quality Dalmatians, health and temperament are our main priorities, as well as producing puppies that reflect as closely as possible the ideal Dalmatian as described in the standard. As such, our puppies' parents have been carefully selected, are health tested, have great dispositions, and beautiful conformation! Each Dalmatian puppy bred by us has been raised with the greatest of care and comes with a lifetime of advice. We usually raise only one or two litters per year to ensure the puppies receive plenty of attention and socialization. Our puppies are born in our home so they get lots of love and handling right from the start! Please visit our website below for lots of photos and more information about our Dalmatian breeding program, and for specifics regarding making one of our special puppies a part of your life! There are pictures of our adults as well as pedigree info on the website.

Ron Hansen is from California and breeds Dalmatians. Working with Experienced Breeders My Mentors Gateway Farm Dalmatians. http:www.gatewayfarm.com was the breeder of Proctor and Gateway's Dottie pictured saying goodbye to one of her puppies, Apollo. Apollo's new family is very happy now. Proctor Dalmatians http:www.proctordalmatians.net was the owner of the sire for Dixie's litter, Proctor's Sundial Nu Revolution Rocky (AKC registration # NY00003107), and the dam was Southern Charm of Gateway Farm Dixie (AKC registration #NP38997108) and these were Dottie's parents. Dottie's birthday is July 27, 2021, and she will have turned three on that date. This will be her first litter of puppies. All of the breeders involved are very conscientious regarding their canine's health and socialization and adhere to all of the standards of the Dalmatian Club of America. I have applied to this organization, but only just so, however I have adhered to their standards which my mentors explained and put in their contracts as a condition of transfer of AKC registration. Puppies are tested for hearing BAER (Brainstem Evoked Auditory Response) , dysplasia, hyperuriscosuria and thyroid. These are recorded at OFA.org http:www.ofa.org (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals.) The purpose of the CHIC (Canine Health Information Center) designation from OFA is that genetically we are assured these dogs are free of certain breed prevelant issues. In other words, we want our puppies to be as healthy and problem free as possible. Additionally, we realize it is important that the home a puppy is placed in is committed to the care of the dog and understand what to expect. As a reputable Dalmatian breeder we request an application from potential homes so we can be informed about the puppy's prospective new family and can make a determination if a puppy would be suited for the prospective new family's circumstances. Healthy Bloodline Dottie's father was Proctor's Sundial Nu Revolution Rocky (AKC registration # NY00003107) http://www.proctordalmatians.net/ProctorDogs.html. Rocky is descended from Proctor’s Dappled Hi-Flyer, who through 2019 is the 13th highest all time top show Dalmatian https://dalmatianclubofamerica.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/2019AllTimeTopShowDals.pdf according to the Dalmatian Club of America. The dam was Southern Charm of Gateway Farm Dixie (AKC registration #NP38997108) . You can find more information at http://www.gatewayfarm.com/the-girls.html . Both of these dogs have their CHIC (Canine Health Information Center) certifications and the results of their health tests can be found on the OFA website, http:www.ofa.org (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals.) All results of tests found on the OFA website are copyrighted, but feel free to enter the registration number and you can view the results of their tests for yourself. Dottie had all of her tests for the CHIC program certification and they are entered into the OFA database. Dottie's CHIC number is 156958.

I’ve grown up with dogs of many different breeds, though usually hunting dogs. I love them all, but when looking for a new dog back in the 80s, my husband suggested getting the AKC book of dog breeds and shopping with an open mind and a list of desired characteristics, which we did. We had kids, so needed a dog with a good disposition for a family. I loved horses, so I needed a dog who would enjoy accompanying me on rides and horse camping in the mountains. We live in California where the summers are hot, and the foxtails and other stickers are numerous, so we needed a dog with a short coat. The Dalmatian fit all these requirements, and was beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they are horse dogs, and are associated with the fire house only because they got there with the horse teams that used to pull the fire wagons. When I discovered that there are competitions for Dalmatians where the owner or handler is on horseback or in a horse-drawn vehicle, that sparked my interest further. (See “Road Dog Trials”.) And contrary to their Non-Sporting Dogs classification, I have successfully hunted with my Dalmatians, who also excel at getting mice in the hay barn. My family and I fell in love with Dalmatians, and we are on our fifth now. I am excited to have an LUA, and very much want to do my part to improve the health of this wonderful dog for future generations. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.

Jolene DeGraef is from California and breeds Dalmatians & Great Danes. I am a member of the DCA and DCSC clubs in good standing. I am also a member of The Great Dane Club of America. Health testing of parents is vital in breeding for solid loving temperaments, correct structure, longevity and solid smooth movement is what JGD Fyredals & JGD Great Danes is all about. ( JGD FYREHOUSE) and JGD Great Danes. My Danes are medically documented living 12 to 16 years of age. Our oldest Dal lived shy of 18 years old all medically documented. My Danes and Dals are all health tested at UC Davis in California. Of our JGD Fyredal's breeding program LUA is vital as the Dalmatian breed is prone to stone forming with the urate stone being the #1 stone that affects the breed. Breeding for health is vital! We care about health and am breeding into our pedigree the LUA Program gene that we know is important to the breed for health ALWAYS! This means our Dalmatian's Of LUA won't get the #1 stone the breed is affected by the Urate stone. Our Dal's before leaving are Baer Tested (hearing) microchipped, declaws removed, wormed and started on a solid vaccine schedule We do the same for JGD Danes (no hearing Baer testing) We have a solid contract for our pups as we care where they go and keep in contact with them for their lifetime. We pre pay for registration of the entire litter and each pup comes limited unless for showing or of the LUA program or as an agreement. Responsible breeding is just that knowing where our pups are with having a solid contract to protect them and keeping in touch. We care about them as they are part of the JGD Fyredal & Dane family. Before one of our pups leaves they will have one or two possibly 3 vaccines depending on when we know they are ready to go to their new homes, worming's, micro chipped , BAER (hearing tested) a health wellness check from our vet before leaving us. Then it goes without saying lifetime support from us as we know it is important to not just you but, to us as we love each and everyone of of them. We start potty training, crate and socializing before they leave. YOU become part of our JGD Family If your selected to have one placed with you know your family will become larger as you will become part of the JGD Fyredal family. We also breed for even temperament for service dogs as our JGD Fyredal Lucy in Oregon is a seizure alert canine for her owner & we have more. We breed not just show dogs but, service and family companions. We are proud that we have several Mobility service JGD Danes many serving Veterans. We breed for the betterment of our loved Breed the Dalmatian & Great Dane. Contract us for more information of any questions you might have. Dalmatian

The Frisky Dalmatian family is from California. Our beloved Dalmatians are raised in our family friendly home with our young children. Our top concerns are good health and temperament. All puppies will go to new homes, dewormed, shots up to date and BAER hearing tested. Please inquire for more information. They are very active indoors and will do best with at least an average-sized yard. Not suited to living outside in cold or hot climates. This is a very energetic dog with enormous stamina. They need to be taken on daily, long, brisk walks or jogs. In addition, it needs plenty of opportunity to run, preferably off the leash in a safe area. If these dogs are allowed to get bored, and are not walked or jogged daily, they can become destructive and start to display a wide array of behavioral problems. They love to run!
