We are NOT a kennel—We are a Havanese Family! We all live happily and peacefully in our home. Our Havanese are genuinely a part of the family and not treated as breeding stock. The physical health, temperament and emotional wellbeing of our Havanese family members is of the utmost importance. Our moms are supervised with their newborn babies in our bedroom. The growing babies later move to the living room, where a designated place is set for them to be exposed to all of the general activities in our household. We DO NOT place our puppies into their new homes until they are at least 10 - 12 weeks of age. Our puppies are vaccinated with age appropriate core vaccines, as well as being microchipped. Before our puppies leave our care and go to their new homes, the puppies will also receive a comprehensive veterinary wellness exam. We do NOT ship our puppies. However, if you are not located in California, you may come and fly back to your home accompanying your puppy. We require a $500 deposit, which is applied towards the purchase price of the puppy. Our puppies are priced from $3,000 -- $4,000. Please, be advised that we DO NOT have reduced prices or bargain prices on our puppies. No puppy should ever be considered a shopping item or a sale item. Puppies MUST be brought into a home as a valued life long commitment as a companion and member of your family. We require that you be vetted in a telephone interview, which must take place before you are considered to be on a puppy reservation list. Be prepared to convince us that one of our puppies should go to your home. We do NOT sell breeding rights and all puppies are placed with AKC limited registration. . My pups are raised in my home with love and care. People who have seen other Havanese pups gush about what a difference mine are...social, playful. My Havanese are the only dogs that I raise. My pups are handled from the moment that they are born and are very social and playful. They have been vet checked and have had their dew claws removed. They will be dewormed and have the necessary shots when appropriate.. Havanese do not shed they have hair not fur so people are not allergic to them. They are not yappy, hyper or snappy. I am Lenette Venden from San Diego, CA. I have over 25 years of breeding experience and have been breeding Havanese exclusively for the past 10 years. Our lovely doggies are treated better than most people's children. lol. Before that, we raised beautiful Golden Retrievers. As my husband and I neared retirement, we set out to find a small breed that had the personality and attitude of the Goldens, and were also hypoallergenic as Alan suffers from allergies. He has absolutely no problems, even when they sneak up on our pillows at night. They love to travel, whether it's in the cabin of the airplane with us, in the motorhome, or the SUV ("The Havanese Mobile"). Our dogs are very healthy and happy and go with us virtually everywhere. We try to keep our breeding to approximately two litters per year and most of our puppies are reserved prior to birth. We are rather particular to make sure that our puppies go to well qualified homes who will treat their dogs as well as we do. We welcome serious perspective clients into our home to get well acquainted with all five of our dogs. While we do not participate in the show world, our dogs are show quality, and some have even been trained for service. The Moon Family Havanese is located in Gilroy, California. Our puppies are family raised inside our home and accustomed to the everyday life and sounds within our home . All are VERY well socialized and exposed to a variety of agility equipment early in life for development and confidence when they leave to their forever homes. We require a $750 deposit to hold puppy until they are ready to leave us at ~10 wks of age. We will NOT FLY or SHIP any of our puppies, please DO NOT ask.
