Cocker Spaniel

I'm Cathy Ayers from the South West corner of Colorado and I breed Cocker Spaniels. I have been breeding Cocker Spaniels on and off for the last 30 years. I only register through AKC. I have three females: Rosie who is a red buff, Hermione who is a chocolate and whte parti with green eyes, and finally Pixie who is a small buff. The girls are friendly and happy family pets. Rosie and Pixie seem to have mostly black with buff/brown marking pups and maybe a chocolate and buff. Hermione has the most beautiful chocolate and white parti pups. Ranger is a black and white male with brown markings. He was a Christmas gift from my kids and husband and he is a sweet boy. He carries the merle gene so I am very careful to never breed him with another female that also carries this gene. I have another male named George, he lives with my daughter. He is, well you can only call him calico. He is adorable. So loving and sweet. He also carries the Merle gene My cockers and pups are raised in the home for the most part. I have a nice safe kennel that they stay in when we aren't home. It keeps them out of mischief while we are away for the day. My pups will always have their tails docked and dew claws removed by the vet, followed by a vet check, first shots and deworming at six weeks before they go to their forever home.
