Havanese

Retirement has created a lonely environment for Griso, my cat, & me. I live in the woods of Lyme ct in a cozy salt box with eagles soaring above & 4 legged wildlife scurrying about. My sister told me I needed a dog, NO DOG‼️Apparently she didn’t hear me, she arrived on my doorstep with Sophie tucked under her arm. No, no, no!as she’s filling my arms with this adorable, gentle, happy bundle. Too late! I was hers. Fast, sturdy, ready for adventure, she kayaks with me, rides my motorcycle in a backpack and sleeps on my lap in front of the fire. And if I want a day with a book or just hanging and watching tv she’s happy to do that too. Now I have 4 ladies, Sophia ,Bella, Mia and coming soon Espresso and I have the pleasure of breeding these lovely little darlings. They are born and raised in front of my stone fireplace. Grizo thinks she’s in charge, maybe she is? They are raised by all who come, taken outside and for little outings in the car. Socialize, Socialize, Socialize! We raise both standard and chocolate havanese from the best bloodlines in Europe and The US. We are two houses with one philosophy…puppies on our laps, puppies in our hearts and health on our minds. My sister’s house has been raising and breeding Havanese for 16 years now so she is my oracle. Between the two household we usually have puppies please call us and see if we can help you find your new bundle of joy! Call, 860-575-2112

Havanese

We discovered this fantastic breed in 1999, and we have been enchanted with them ever since. We have a commitment to breed the healthiest, happiest, cutest, and most affectionate Havanese possible. Our puppies are definitely little charmers. Playful and loving, they always bring a smile to your face with their antics.  All of our puppies are whelped and raised in our home. We take tremendous pride in our reputation as responsible breeders, and as such, we back each of our puppies with an outstanding health guarantee. We love our puppies and care very much where they go to live--and we really like our owners to--so we take the time to find the right fit for both puppy and owner.

Havanese

After spending 10 satisfying years rescuing & placing hundreds of kittens in loving homes we met our first havanese, Mrs.Bear. That was it! We found our passion. We breed for the love of these charming, always happy, loving souls, whose only job is to keep your heart warm and make you laugh and FLY into your hearts. We concentrate on the temperament of our dogs and as we only breed from international champion lines the genetics have been proven over multiple generations. We never “line breed” because the genetic health of our puppies is first and foremost. We do not breed in crates or cages, our dogs & pups are always with us. They are kissed, cuddled, loved, taken out in the car, vacuumed around, bossed about  by 3 huge cats , picked up & loved by all who come. Our breeding practices and contract set us apart. We give a year genetic health guarantee and I am very proud of our our contract that does not require you to return your puppy. (In the pictures you will find a copy of our contract.)The health of our puppies come first, even when they are living with you.. We want you to love our puppies as much as we do but mostly we want our puppies to love you. Most of our puppies go home to you at 8 weeks old with their first shots. But over the years we have found that some of our clients prefer a slightly older puppy, 4 months, with a good start on potty training, all their shots and we can even get them a passport so they may travel anywhere you may go. In addition we never give our own puppies vaccinations. This is done by our vet who gives them a complete “well puppy”check prior to their going to your home. Remember, breeders should be experts in their breed but they are not vets. Short cutting the vet visit to save money is a poor choice and when you pick up your puppy there should be paper work from a local reputable veterinarian to assure that your puppy gets the right start. We do not have a web site or need to advertise other than right here at the AKC as most of our puppies are sold by word of mouth. PLEASE CALL US at 203-623-9292, I always answer or will return calls or texts. Please DO NOT email me I’m too busy loving your new puppy. I am now enjoying sharing my business with my brother, Lody, two houses one breeding standard. PLEASE LOOK BELOW AT THE BREEDERS GALLERY FOR MORE AVAILABLE PUPPIES

Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.

Havanese

Sandra and Dan Cacace are from Connecticut and have been breeding dogs for over 40 years . As a professional dog trainer since 1976, Dan was introduced to this magnificent breed several years ago. Because of their wonderful temperament and willingness to please ,we fell in love with the breed and started to breed them in 2012. All our moms are BAER and CERF certified (eyes and hearing). Our puppies are born and raised in our home, in their own nursery, and are with us 24/7. At 5 weeks the puppies begin being introduced to their perspective families. We begin introducing them to the crate and socialize them with our other dogs and our cat so the transition to their "forever home" will be fairly transparent. At 8 weeks the puppies will be vet checked and health certified and be given their first shots. When you pick up your puppy you will receive a packet of information including house breaking and feeding information along with a toy and food. We are always here to help you with any questions you may have for the life of your puppy and love to keep in contact with our families with pictures and updates as the puppies grow.
