I have owned, bred, and shown Rhodesian Ridgebacks since 1988. The Cirnechi were added in 2013. Emphasis has always been placed on producing puppies that adhere to the breed standard as well as having a sound temperament since most puppies become good family companions especially in homes with children. I currently am approved by AKC to judge these breeds as well as a number of other Hound breeds. I am also a RRCUS parent club approved mentor.

We are at Mount Dora Area, but our Male and Female dogs come from excellent XL bloodlines from our relatives' kennel in Texas. Our dogs are one and a half inches taller than the average, but they are as docile as bigger. Our Female Dog delivered her first litter on April 26 - 2021, and her second litter was this year on February 24, which will be her last litter. Later we will have another female for reproduction, but we do not let them have more than two litters in their life. They are "AC-Sofa Dogs." We love them and treat them as members of our family they are! We ask the dog's parents the commitment of returning the dog to us if, for some reason, ahead of time, they can't keep them. We also prefer homeowners of spacious properties as our puppy's parents to ensure our dogs have a stable home. Puppies are declawed and de-wormed at 2,4 & 6 weeks. They will be vet checked and vaccinated before going to their forever homes.

We actively participate in AKC conformation shows, obedience, and lure coursing and have bred champions in both fields. We are very proud of our achievements in the show ring, but also take great pride in our dogs succeeding in working type jobs such as search and rescue, bomb scent detection, and therapy work. Our dogs have a proven abiltiy to not only be conformation champions, but also be a superior companion or as a guard, working or therapy dogs. This is a testament to the attention we place on not only physical attributes and soundness, but also temperament and disposition. We specialize in family dogs as we have three children of our own and hence our puppies are kid handled since birth. Prior to breeding, our dogs are assessed for genetic conditions and pass mutliple health screenings, to include hips and elbows, cardiac screens, and thyroid testing. Puppies are sold with an Official Health Certificate issued by a licensed veterinatian and includes a complete physical, negative fecal, vaccinations and worming. On The Rocks strives to produce true all-around Ridgebacks. Our goal is to have dogs with the ability and desire to perform in any performance event asked of them while still maintaining exceptional temperaments and correct structure. We are from Florida and love breeding Rhodesian Ridgebacks. I grew up raising companion dogs with my family and have chosen to breed Rhodesian Ridgebacks now with my own family. Contributing to the breed and helping match a new pet with families was a wonderful experience when I was a child. We are not a kennel. We love the breed and want to share our joy of Ridgebacks with other families. Our Ridgebacks are great companions, protectors, and working dogs. Our puppies are kid handled since birth to ensure proper socialization and temperament. Our puppies are AKC registered and our Sire comes from a champion bloodline.
