Butterball Kennel has over 30 years experience breeding Jack Russell Terriers. It is our goal to match you and your family up with the perfect fit! We do our best to make sure you're extremely happy with your pup and are available pretty much around the clock to help you on your new journey. Weather permitting, we try to update your pictures as regularly as possible so you can follow your pup's progress as you try to patiently wait on that special day you permanently become a family! Each of our breeding pairs are carefully selected for their temperament to make sure that their pups will be well mannered and great family dogs. Keep in mind, if we don't feel that a Jack Russell is a good match for you, we will tell you. They are not for everyone and the last thing you need, is to have an unhappy or stressed pup in a situation that may not have been a good fit from the start. We are a small family AKC Russell Terrier program, located in gorgeous Ocala, FL. We strive for a functional, conformationally correct, temperament sound, healthy terrier. We are a show kennel so our dogs are shown in conformation events against their breed standard to make sure we are breeding the most conformationally sound dogs. ALL of our dogs are health tested, temperament tested and show titled. ALL of our dogs are our loving companions and cared for like our human family members, Our dogs live in the house and get free roam of our fenced yard. Puppies are raised in the home and considered our family. This is how they learn how to properly live in a home. We focus on quality not quantity, our program is not our livelihood. We are a small hobby breeder. Our dogs are a part of our family and do life with us! We love the temperament of our Russell Terriers and how wonderful they are with our kids and family and friends. They truly are some of the best family dog breeds out there! We are always with our dogs as my husband works from home, and I'm a stay-at-home mom with four kiddos. They get lots of love and attention here. We are a lively household so our pups get exposed to lots of loud noises, new faces, and other pets that helps to diminish that initial puppy fear that can happen sometimes when they aren't exposed much in the beginning of their lives. Of course we can't guarantee that your puppy will never have a fearful moment but we do our best to build their confidence before they leave us. Our pups can be very energetic and also very laid back. But all pups need exercise and lots of love. Russell Terriers are very intelligent and love to cuddle. Our dogs have had no health issues which has been so nice! If you're looking for a wonderful family dog, look No further!

I am a former international banker, that retired to enjoy outdoor life., I created Eco Farm Boutique Hotel in Uruguay and started occasionally breeding Australian Shepherds and Jack Russells for working in the farm. My Dogs are working dogs that run 12 hours a day in an idyllic nature state. I have Reds, Blacks and Merles and only breed them on a case by case to keep some and to place in good families the rest. DV Barron is from Florida and breeds Labrador Retrievers. We raised quality Labrador Retrievers since 1984 when our first son wanted one for Christmas. Our Lab family quickly grew when our other 3 sons wanted one of their own. They are awesome family pets and we only breed the best quality for healthy characteristics, disposition, intelligence, gentleness and loyalty. Mike & Amy Luhmann are retired from the Air Force. We live in Valrico, Florida and breed smooth Jack Russell Terriers Shorties on our acre of land. We have 1-2 litters a year. All puppies get potty, crate and doggy door training before going to their new forever homes. Swinning can be taught for and extra fee as well. When the new owner visits all training will be shared once a week from 6-8 weeks for 1 hour. Any extra training is $25 an hour. A non-refundable deposit of $350 is required to hold a puppy . A puppy contract is also required to be filled out. The best interest of each puppy is our top priority. Each puppy comes with a basket of goodies (including the training tool)to help them settle in to their new homes. We will not ship any puppies because it really freaks them out. I do provide a nanny service that flies with your new puppy in cabin for an additional fee. A fenced in yard would a plus. They are great escape artist. If you own a pool it needs to have the pool kid gate around it. They love the water but if left unsupervised they will drown. Romeo (dad) and Juliet (mom) know pool tricks they love to show off for guests.. They have their own floaties. New owner must be willing to walk their puppy at least once a week. All puppies will be cleared by a licensed vet for genetic disorders. They will be given the canine Distemper, Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. Their fecal will be tested for worms. And if a male their testicles will be documented on their health certificate. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders.
