Chris Foster is from Iowa and breeds Black and Tan Coonhounds. We raised AKC Black and Tan Coonhounds in the 1990's. We took some time off to raise our family and led a very hectic life. Our kids are now grown and out on their own, so we are happy to be hunting and being able to have puppies to share these wonderful dogs with hunters and pet owners alike. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
