Here at Lakefork we strive to raise an absolutely beautiful and loyal companion animal that will remain a healthy and happy family member for years to come. Some of our dogs go to the show pen to compete in agility, herding, obedience, or conformation, some become 4-H dogs, and some are daily companions to their families. They lie at their owner’s feet while they read and patiently listen to problems and trials of everyday life. Others go to work every day moving stock at working farms and ranches. What ever their purpose, it is important that they are part of a family. Whether it is a family of one or ten doesn’t matter, they just don’t thrive in a pen out back. We love our dogs and are thankful every day for the friends they have brought us. Some of those friends come back to the farm and visit, others are far away and we visit through emails and pictures, all are important. If you can offer a family for one of our pups, please contact us, we’d love to hear from you. We don’t normally raise a lot of pups, but do have some available periodically throughout the year.

Next litter later 2018. Both parents come from Champion bloodlines in Herding/Agility and Show out of Ranch's in Tennessee and Missouri. They have true working bloodlines, are bread for competition or just a new addition to your family. They have a well rounded temperament. All of our puppies are raised indoors, and also have plenty of outdoor space to explore, play, discover and learn. They are not caged puppies. They are raised around our family and are treated as such. Our goal is to be the finest mix of Show, Work and companion/family dog's. They are very smart and affectionate, love to play when you do , and cuddle as well. All puppies are up to date on shots, tails docked, due claws removed, Parents are AKC registered and have full pedigree papers . They are some of the finest puppies you can find in the world. A little about us - we live on a small farmette in Northern Illinois where we raise Aussies (obviously), rabbits, and a kid. Both Patrick and I grew up on farms and have always had a love of animals. The dogs are are by and large family pets and are spoiled accordingly. When we decided to raise a few puppies every year we knew that they would be raised as part of the family. They are all loved on multiple times a day, exposed to all kinds of sites, smells, people, other animals and the general chaos of family and farm. They are in and out of the house all day long (just like the big dogs). Once they are active they get lots of time in the grass to play and explore.
