Ingrid Thomas is from Illinois and breeds Great Pyrenees. Her family breeds and raises their Great Pyrenees Livestock Guardian dogs, each boasting an impressive lineage. Their pedigrees not only feature show champions but also working dogs who prove themselves in their job. The Pyrs amaze friends and family with their beauty, their balanced and friendly temperaments, and mostly with their attention to their guarding and protecting duties. They work on the farm to protect goats, alpacas, sheep and chickens. Puppies are raised with their mother and are socialized daily with the family and children and grow up around the farm animals as well. The puppies are also temperament tested at six weeks of age, receive the best of care from the family and veterinarians, are well socialized, are dewormed three times, and will receive their first round of shots by 8 weeks. Limited AKC registration is offered. Quality and attention to breeding and socialization is a priority and Ingrid is proud to offer her Great Pyrenees puppies to other small family farms or individuals needing a companion. She and her family strive to offer the best and will offer support and help at any stage of the dog's life. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
