working Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs which are bred for tempement. I am currently working with the fifth generation in my breeding program, though I have worked with LGDs since 1994. My dogs all work protecting my herd of Nigerian dairy goats. Puppies are whelped in my goat barn and raised in my goat pens from the time they toddle out of the whelping box. My breeding Pyrs are OFA certified for hips and elbows. I also work with and breed Pyr-Anatolian Shepherd cross LDGs. I offer mentoring and training advice if you purchase a working dog from me. I occasionally have young adults available as LDGs or retired working dogs looking for a pet home. Please consider that the Pyrs were bred to be a "thinking dog", an independent worker. They require an investment of your time and effort in their basic training and socialization. Additionally, I occasionally breed my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel house dogs.
