Ms Laura K. S. Shaw and Mr Jonathan G. Wright reside in Maryland together and breed Border Collies. Laura started in the dog show world as a young child showing dogs every single weekend. She fell in love with Border Collies through her father who is Irish, and the journey began. She had dedicated thousands of hours into breeding the very best Border Collies possible with zero expense spared. It is solely a labour of love. The Bellaclan name is world renown, having bred dogs all over the world who have won at many of the most prestigious dog shows, including WD/WB/BOW/BOS at the US national specialty on more than one occasion. Laura feels her biggest accomplishment of all is breeding sound tempered family pets. Jonathan jumped on the band wagon much later in the game but he has just a much a part of everything as non of it would be possible without his undying support and love for the dogs at home on a daily basis. Border Collies are our passion. We take great pride in producing top notch examples of the breed on a global level. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders.
