Alaskan Malamute

We are a family dog kennel and breed our pups responsibly only whelping one litter at a time. Why this should matter to you? Because what you get from us is quality at every level. We care about the successful homing of our pups and because of this we dedicate ourselves to early training and interaction to foster well tempered and socialized family members. If you buy from a kennel or a puppy mill you get what you pay for. Often these mass breeder's rarely handle their pups and feed them like chickens, letting them fight for every scrap. By the time you get your pup they will have a certificate of health, prepaid AKC registration, first vaccinations, and will be well on their way to being potty trained. To top it all off we take an active interest in your success offering owner mentorship every step of the way.

Alaskan Malamute

Our life with Alaskan Malamutes started with a puppy girl from Storm Kloud Kennels, and that’s when the Magic started. Magic taught us a lot about malamutes, as companions, working and show dogs. Joe is a magician, so we named our first two malamutes Magic and Trix. When we decided this would be a serious hobby, we needed a kennel name. Keeping with the theme we settled on Illusion. Each of the puppies that we keep are named after magicians, illusions or other effects. We enjoy many activities with our Malamutes such as conformation shows, weight pulls, rally and agility. When we made the decision to breed, we made the commitment to ourselves and our puppy owners to produce Alaskan Malamutes that are sound in mind and body. We are doing just that; producing dogs that are winners in the ring, on the trail and in the hearts of their families.

Alaskan Malamute

Jody Johnston is from Michigan and breeds Alaskan Malamutes. Her kennel name is called The Mally Pack. She has had this breed for many years and breeds them to share the joy and love they bring to her with other people. Her Dams and Sores have been DNA tested and do not have any hereditary or genetic diseases. They have been health tested by a veterinarian and are in perfect condition. Jody and her family only breed Alaskan Malamutes on their farms. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you.

Alaskan Malamute

Welcome to Michigan Grey Skies Alaskan Malamutes, we are Carol and Jeff! After 40 years of having Arctic Breeds in my life, I (Carol) found myself back with this incredible animal, the Alaskan Malamute, and telling Jeff he wouldn't regret it! Unlike the other Arctic breeds, this is a pack animal and its devotion and love for their humans is one of a kind. You haven't been hugged till you have been hugged by a Malamute. You are their family... consider yourself "one". As a dog groomer, I appreciate the easy care of this breed. Seasonal shedders and dirt repellent fur, makes for maintenance on these dogs a minimal. This hearty, healthy dog is great with children and will keep your family active with countless hours of hiking, dog sledding, and anything else you have in-store for them. You just need to make them part of your family!
