Here at Wicked Antler Kennels we strive to produce the healthiest puppy possible. How we do that; each of our adult dogs have been health DNA tested for over 170 different genetic diseases and I am proud to say all of them have clean bill of health. Our adults have also had their eyes tested by a specialized eye veterinarian. We also pair our dams and sires personally by personality and size to insure we have the best temperaments which insures you a happy healthy puppy! All of our dogs live in climate controlled buildings and each one has about a 1/4 of acre to run and play in. We are out with our dogs and puppies all the time which helps develop great demeanors and awesome personalities, especially in our puppies. Socialization is so important for an Akita and we start this at birth. As soon as their ears open we start calling each puppy by the name you choose so by the time they are ready to go to their forever home they are starting to learn their name. At Kamikaze, we show our Akitas ourselves and invest a lot of time in them: grooming, training and socializing. . We are members of the Akita Club of America (ACA), where David serves on the board as the Recording Secretary. We are also members of the Rolla, MO Kennel Club, where Brandy serves as the Secretary and David is a board member. Our dogs are often seen with us on outings outside of dog shows to places like the Shakespeare Festival, Forest Park in St. Louis, our local Jimmy Johns, kennel club meetings, festivals, Petco and many other locations. We care about our dogs beyond the show ring as valued companions. Thus, our motto. Welcome to Royal Kennel! We have shown and raised Akitas and Australian Cattle Dogs since 1988. We take pride in the quality of our puppies and dogs. We strive to meet and/or exceed AKC breed standards and OFA genetic testing. We research our dog’s pedigrees and confirmation prior to breeding to combine all the strengths of each pair.
