Jimmy Hobson is from Missouri and breeds Irish Wolfhounds. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual. We have a few high quality Irish Wolfhounds which include many imported and domestic champions. Our dogs will make great pets and companions but should also excel in the show ring. We strive to breed for longevity, health and above average size for IW's. I am also trying to breed for a deeper shade of of red, although, we usually have all colors. We live on a large farm, allowing our dogs plenty of room to play and swim. Our dogs are always supervised and never allowed to roam when not watched. .Unsupervised Irish Wolf hounds can get into trouble because of their intimidating size and the fact that they are sight hounds. We take long walks with them everyday. We think of them as our furry friends and family.
