My father, Eddie, and myself set up our kennel, Yadkin River Pointers and Retrievers, a few years back, but we have had dogs and raised dogs our whole lives. I am from North Carolina and I began breeding Brittanys 7 years ago, although I have loved this breed and have had Brittanys for companions and quail hunting for the last 40 years. My wife and I would not describe ourselves as kennel owners. Our dogs are part of our family, and because we love this breed, we want to share with others. We select our own pets from the best of bloodlines and provide our adoptive families with healthy, well-socialized puppies.
