Jessica Yoder is from Nebraska and breeds Cairn Terriers. Our dogs are kept in the house as family pets. Each puppy comes vet examined, up to date on vaccinations and deworming, and covered in plenty of TLC. We name each one as they are here with us, but you are free to change their names as you wish. Jennifer Andersen and Deb Buhr are best friends and live in rural Nebraska and breed West Highland White Terriers, Scottish Terriers, and added Cairn Terriers in late 2021. Jennifer occasionally breeds a litter of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We love our dogs and cant wait for you to find your perfect Terrier (Westie, Scottie or Cairn) for your family. Westies are a special breed and they are amazing ratters. Having a Westie as part of your family is having joy and fun always in your home. We also have litters of Scotties because we love them too! They are amazing Barn Hunt dogs, but are a different personality from a Westie. They are a little larger and a touch more independence. and oh so smart! We both have had amazing Cairn terriers and have always wanted to have puppies. We came upon the right breeder and here we go! Our Terriers love doing Obedience Trials, Rally, and Barn Hunt, other activities, agility, etc. Our dogs are wonderful pets. Our Scottie girls Bette and Babe are GREAT mamas and have beautiful puppies. Bette is great in the performance pen. Babe is more reserved and will do confirmation and barn hunt but is less interested in agility and obedience. Our Cairn Terrier Zeke is already started in agility and barn hunt. He is going to be AMAZING! So much drive and energy. Our Cairns are brindle. We love this adventure with our dogs. We have TONS of pics/videos on our D & J Terriers Facebook groups. There is a different group for each breed. We are a very small breeder and only have 2 girls of each breed. We focus on quality not quantity. We have significant health testing done--complete DNA panels of our parent dogs to make sure they are clear of diseases that are able to be screened for. We also follow the parent organization recommendations for additional testing. We strive to have the healthiest, most vital puppies possible.
