Propwash Farm has produced wonderful Aussies for over 40 years. We’re proud of the versatility of our dogs and that many have titles in all venues—herding, agility, tracking, obedience, service and conformation but foremost are loyal and loved companions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Leslie Frank~~~ Australian Shepherds came to Propwash Farm and joined the Romney sheep and horses and other assorted livestock and as time went on became the main focus. At the time ASCA was the main registry and Leslie competed successfully with the dogs in conformation and is an ASCA Hall of Fame breeder. The breed was recognized by the AKC in 1993 and all Propwash dogs are registered with both clubs. In 2010 Leslie was honored with Herding Breeder of the Year by the AKC. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Judy Harrington ~~~ Australian Shepherds came into her life after many successful years of breeding and exhibiting Great Danes and a professional handling career, exhibiting top quality dogs in many breeds. Judy exhibited Aussies prior to their AKC recognition at ASCA events for Leslie. That is when she became passionate about the breed. When Australian Shepherds were shown in AKC events Leslie entrusted her with Ch Propwash St Elmo’s Fire. Leslie had won the first AKC National Specialty with him and he went on to multiple Best in Shows – and the rest is history –there have been Aussies in her home ever since. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ All parents have appropriate health clearances and puppies leave with vet health clearances. Puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract. On occasion there may be adults or older puppies available. As caring breeders should a dog not be able to remain in the original home it returns to Propwash Farm.

Pamela Gaudreau is from New Hampshire and breeds Australian Shepherds in a very small scale (only one or 2 litters per year, with 2 breeding females and one sire). She holds a BS in Pre Vet Medicine and has worked professionally in pet services and in the clinical field for over 35 years. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders.
