Leslie Fleisher, of Willowridge is a code of Ethics and Preservation Breeder. We only produce 1 litter of distinction every few yews. As show enthusiasts we feel it is very important to represent our Ridgebacks, not only as show quality but as the perfect family companion. We pride ourselves on the superb temperaments of our dogs. Sire/Dam are OFA certified for hips, shoulders/ elbows. We genetically test our sires and dams: eyes, ears, hearts and for DM. Pups are examined for dermoid sinus throughout their infancy. Puppies are hand raise in our home, socialized from birth ; our pups are exposed to different sounds, textures, surfaces, including stairs and are introduced to crates. As our pups mature we start basic and potty training, many of our pups have learned the doggy door and to potty outside at 8-10 weeks. Our dam is on the premises. We encourage you to do your research on RR's, ask lots of questions and be sure this is the right breed for you. RR's are free thinkers, require consistent training, and are naturally protective, loving and kind. We have an application process which requires a phone conversation and personal meeting with all family members who will reside with the new companion. We do not ship our pups. Visitors are always welcomed.
