Lhasa Apso

14 Year Experienced Breeder We got our first Lhasa Apso puppy 15 years ago and it was love at first bark! She was everything you'd want a dog to be. She was sweet, cuddly, playful, ok, maybe a bit headstrong, but all of this in the most adorable package ever. It was at that point that we decided to be a part of the breeding world. We wanted to continue such a wonderful breed in such a way as to not change them. They're perfect just the way they are. Through a selective breeding program that focuses on both breed standards and personality we have some incredible pets. As our little family grew, so did our four legged babies. We are proud pet parents to some of the best lhasas ever. Our lhasas are a part of the family and play, snuggle, and enjoy being with us. They aren't just breeders, they are also family members. We've apprenticed with another top breeder for many years to learn as much as possible about proper care, grooming, breeding, and Lhasa specific techniques for caring for our babies. We're finally ready to go out on our own and raise spectacular dogs who produce beautiful, well socialized, sweet tempered puppies. We thank you for checking out our page and can't wait for one of our babies to become a beloved member of your family. Happy, Healthy Bloodline We believe that proper nutrition combined with a healthy lifestyle will benefit both humans and animals. Our lhasas eat a varied diet which includes between a couple different foods at the same time. This reduces the risk of poisoning due to a defective food product, but also ensures that if one food is lacking in an area, the others will have the nutrition to fill the gap. We follow a regimented vaccination, worming, eye Care, ear care and grooming schedule to ensure that our babies have the best future possible. A Furever Friend Lhasas are cuddly, sweet, and sometimes stubborn. Contrary to what many state, they are great with children. I have 6 children and they adore my kids. It's all about respect. Teaching your child to respect their pet, but also training your dog to respect your child. It's give and take.

Lhasa Apso

Top Knot-ch Kennels began breeding in early-2008. We are located in Upstate New York and actively breed AKC purebred Standard Poodles & Lhasa Apso puppies. Specifically, our Standard Poodles are bred for temperament with roles of service, therapy, and/or support in mind; but also make amazing companions to many loving families! Our Lhasa Apso's puppies are known to be confident, smart, and complex! As per the breed standard, they are protectors and bark moderately to warn of threats. Many of our Lhasa’s carry the "kink" tail found in original Lhasa lines from Tibet. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. Many of our Standard Poodle parents are AKC titled Canine Good Citizen's (CGC), Therapy Dog Certified and/or Service Dog Certified.
