Great Pyrenees

Located in Oregon City, Oregon on the edge of the Portland Metro Area...we are a multi-species Farm with working Great Pyrenees Livestock Guardian Dogs. Our Dogs guard Chickens, Sheep, Alpacas, Pigs, and anything else they believe belongs to them! The pack receives daily hugs and interact with neighbors who walk up to the fence to pet them...but when it's time to go to work...see ya later! Our puppies are exposed to all of the sounds, smells, and activity that occurs daily on a working farm to awaken their senses and prepare them for real life circumstances. You can learn more about the dogs by contacting us and visiting our website at www.ChamBurnFarm.com. A few things that are important to us... 1) Our puppies remain on the Farm with their parents, our other dogs, and livestock until they are 10 weeks of age to ensure they are well developed and ready for their new homes. 2) We use the Puppy Culture Program to help our puppies develop mentally and physically from birth until they leave for their new home. 3) We work with a Canine Behavioral Specialist from birth and she evaluates each puppy around 8 weeks of age using an established Puppy Aptitude Test plus additional Working Dog evaluation measures to be able to place each puppy appropriately on working farms or as family pets. 4) All puppies are examined by our Veterinarian, vaccinated, and dewormed. An individual exam report is provided for each puppy.
