Selma and Eddie Kominek of Kominek Afghan Hounds have been active in the breed for 20 years. One of the few afghan hound breeders participating in open field hunting with afghan hounds, we strive to hounds capable of coursing and hunting well while maintaining beautiful conformation hounds according to the breed standard. We consistently have top lure coursing winners and have won the AHCA national lure coursing Best in Event for the last 5 years. We health test our breeding stock and place puppies according to "best fit," never first-come, first-served and are always available to our owners for help and willing to take puppies back when necessary.
