I have been in dogs both breeding and showing for over 50 years and in Havanese for the last 20 years.  I bred and showed Newfoundlands for more than 20 years but needed to downsize.  I was looking for a small, happy, healthy breed.  I found Havanese while helping my Aunt look for a new puppy after their 18 year old mixed breed passed.  Havanese fit the bill and were everything we were looking for.  They are little clowns and can keep you entertained for hours with their antics!  I belong to the Havanese Club of America and the Dallas FW Toy Dog Club.  I am also a breeder of Merit with AKC.  For me the most important thing is a happy, healthy Havanese.  If they are show dogs that is the icing on the cake.   We do all recommended health tests before we breed.  We only breed once or twice a year so be sure to contact me to be placed on my waiting list.  I may not have puppies but I can probably find a friend who has pups available.
