We breed AKC, genetically health tested standard Australian Shepherds. We are small farm in Fauquier County, Virginia. Our Aussies are a part of our family and are not raised or kept in kennels. They live in our home, with us, year round. Our stud, Greywoods Remington Blue, is a gorgeous red tri with beautiful blue eyes. He has only thrown three double brown eyed dogs out of all of his litters! He is OFA hips certified good and elbows normal. Our girls are carefully selected to compliment him! Laurel Cliff Kennels is a small family owned operation located in Caroline, Virginia. We have owned Labrador Retrievers for over 30 years. At the urging of our eldest daughter, we acquired our first Australian Shepherd in 2017. We quickly became a fan of another working dog breed, that also makes wonderful family pets and companions. We focus on producing healthy and happy pups, and perform multiple health test on our canines. We strive to avoid common inherited traits in our litters, such as eye, muscle, hip, heart and elbow problems. We are in the early building stages of our kennels and currently only produce 1-2 litters annually, quality is our main concern, not quantity. It is our goal to provide well bred and socialized pups to deserving pet, sportsman and working homes. We are a small breeder focused on the standards of the Australian Shepherd Club of America. Our puppies are raised in our home and so are accustomed to typical home sounds: clanging pots in the kitchen, the vacuum cleaner, cell phones ringing, and various types of music (no heavy metal!) We are a horse farm that also has chickens, so although the young pups do not interact with the other farm animals, they do hear them from the safety of their puppy playtime paddock outside. We spend a lot of time with our puppies: handling them, loving on them, teaching them which we find helps give puppies confidence. Our breeding dogs are OFA'd and genetically tested through Paw Print Genetics.

Danell Australian Shepherds is located in Appomattox, VA. We strive to uphold the breeds standards and only producing the highest quality of Australian Shepherds.
