At Shadewood Farm and Kennel, we have been breeding Border Collies for over 27 years. While all our Border Collies are placed in loving homes as family companions, many compete in herding, agility, obedience, rally, tracking and conformation. HI There I am Laurel McComas and along with my husband Frank we own and operate Kaigan Kennels in Northern Va in a small town called Stephens City. Frank and I have well over 35 year of combined breeding experience. We specialize in the French and English Bulldog as well as the Australian Shepherd and Border Collie breeds. Our dogs are raised on our 100 acre farm were that have all the room they need to run and play and swim! When getting a puppy from us here at Kaigan Kennels you are set up for success, our puppies go through the Puppy Culture program which is a wonderful socialization program that enriches and shapes emotional responses of the puppy during its time with us.
