Our name, Montagna del Mare, even means "mountain and sea" in Italian. We are the home of the upper Pacific Northwest Lagotto Romagnolo and are committed to breeding the best quality dogs that we can. We believe that a healthy lifestyle, good diet and regular training and exercise are just some of the essentials of raising dogs. The Lagotto Romagnolo is a very social dog and will not thrive unless it gets regular attention from its owner. In fact the Lagotto demands it! Our philosophy is really very simple: breed the best dogs we can while developing the health and temperament that will make each owner proud to own one of our dogs. While breeding is not an exact science and genetics only make up part of the equation, overall temperament and health are carefully monitored on our sire and dams.
