First Class Bassets and Bedlingtons specialize in well-bred, healthy, show-quality dogs. We have produced many top-winning show dogs, and even more valued companions. Every year we have 1 to 3 bedlingtons ranked in the top 10 of the breed. Our bassets are beautiful and healthy, but not overly large so they are capable of doing field work as well as excelling in conformation. We have bred bassets since 1971, and bedlingtons since 1995. Jackie is also an AKC judge approved to judge 6 breeds. She is president of Kettle Moraine Kennel Club and is a member of the Basset Hound Club of America and the Bedlington Terrier Club of America. She writes the AKC Gazette column for basset hounds, and is a regular columnist for Showsight Magazine.
