Doxie Treasures is an AKC-certified kennel located in the Northern California mountains and Redding, California (we have two locations) and exclusively breeds long-haired, miniature dachshunds in a variety of colors. We guarantee healthy, amiable puppies that serve as loyal and loving companions. We seek stable, responsible owners who will love their minis. We only breed long-hair miniature dachshunds. We started Doxie Treasures because we adore dachshunds. After being lifelong dog lovers who have had a variety of breeds (and rescue mutts!) over the years, we got our first dachshund (our now retired sire, Frisbee) in 2011, and we fell in love with this breed. Our kennel is small to help us ensure that each puppy gets the right care and attention that every dog deserves. Our puppies are all raised in our home, loved and played with daily, and socialized as they grow which nurtures a healthy and well-adjusted puppy. Dachshunds are loyal, clever, and affectionate companions who will become an integral part of your family. If you are not familiar with the breed, there are a few things you should know: dachshunds are loveable family pets, but as with all dogs, they should not be left unsupervised with small children. Our dogs are highly socialized with other animals and people. Some of our puppies are very chatty and some are quiet. It is of the utmost importance that these dogs go to loving, committed dog owners. We guarantee lots of entertainment and kisses!
